You are married to Jesse Russell. You are both U.S. citizens and you live in the United States. You have no children. Because of financial problems caused by your first husband, you refuse to file a joint return with anyone, including Jesse. You will file your own tax return and claim an exemption for yourself. Jesse will file his own tax return and claim an exemption for himself.
