| Statistical Methodology |
This page contains links that discuss typical sampling procedures used in most SOI programs. Aspects covered briefly include sampling criteria, selection techniques, methods of estimation, and sampling variability (coefficients of variation). Some of the nonsampling error limitations of the data are also described, as well as the tabular conventions employed.

FedStats provides access to the full range of official statistical information produced by the Federal Government without having to know in advance which Federal agency produces which particular statistic.
