Welcome to the Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) course! This course is available online on Link & Learn Taxes or you can download and print a copy of the course by going to www.irs.gov. It is included in Publication 4942, Cancellation of Debt (COD) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).

This course is optional - volunteers should check with their Site Coordinator to determine if they need HSA certification.

Certification for HSAs is now an option for those who have completed Intermediate certification level or higher. Those who are certified on HSAs will be able to assist taxpayers with HSA issues that are within the scope of the VITA/TCE program. Taxpayers with HSA issues that fall outside of this scope should be referred to a professional tax preparer.
