If the taxpayer claimed:

  • One category of foreign income, enter the amount from line 21 on line 27 and then complete lines 28 and 29
  • More than one category of foreign income and has multiple Forms 1116, complete Part IV on only one of them; for these taxpayers, complete lines 22 through 29
