• General information, located in the front and back section and the covers of the book, offers guidance and a line-by-line job aid using the intake and interview sheet.
• White tabs contain tax law in the form of decision trees, charts, and interview tips.
• Yellow tabs contain step-by-step procedures for electronic return preparation using the tax software.
• Blue tabs contain information specific to users of the web-based option for the tax software.

Tax software online users should take advantage of both the yellow tabs and the blue tabs as material that is universal for both applications will be contained in the yellow tab section.
