Tips and Guidance for Estimating Credit Amount

In order to estimate your credit amount, we will ask you a series of questions. Here are some tips for answering the questions.

  • First, determine your eligibility for the EITC before estimating your credit amount
  • You will need to know the amount and types of income that you will receive for 2006 and any adjustments to that income
  • The result from this tool is just an estimate. The more accurate the answers you provide the more accurate the results
  • Allow approximately 10-15 minutes to complete this tool
  • Please answer all questions on each page
